Ladies and gents! This fall we have two distinct trends in home fashion. One is decidedly feminine – the other quite masculine.

First is the return of curves in furniture design. Playing on the mid-century trend that has been so popular in recent years, we’re seeing furniture with more curves then a 1950’s Hollywood starlet! From the softened wingback lines of the Roland chair to the hourglass figure of the Sophie chair, we have plenty of curves in our staging inventory too. Just the thing to add interest to both traditional and modern spaces.

Fresh Moves projects show off our curves!

A second trend is inspired by you well-dressed men – the menswear motif! From chairs to pillows to settees to sofas – we’re seeing all manner of items upholstered in the type of fabrics often associated with men’s suits.

Pinstripes and subtle plaids. Tweeds and wools. These fabrics look smart, and they’re typically durable too. You might even spot a bedside table dressed up with blazer buttons. Bring in a touch of menswear to add some serious elegance.
There you have it – one trend to honour the ladies, one for the gents. A touch of both trends can bring a nice balance to your space.
